In The Beginning
Ragdolls were created in 1963 in Riverside, California. The large kitty and long coat gained in popularity.
Why Are They Called Ragdolls?
They go limp when you pick them up. They love to be held and cuddled.
A Big Kitty
A male Ragdoll can weigh up 20 lbs while feamles can weigh 15 lbs.
Known for their blue eyes, some Ragolls don’t have them. Some have gold eyes or green.
Variety Is The Spice Of Life
There are several variations of Ragdoll coats. They can be lilac, red, blue, chocolate, cream or seal. Most have a lighter body comined with a dark face, legs and ears.
Lap It Up
These cats love to snuggle. They aren’t ones to explore, they prefer to stay right by your side.
